General information
Granite is an intrusive rock formed in the process of magma cristallization. Granite is build of quartzite, feldspar and mica. It also contains magnetite, apatite and zircon. Granite has an equigranular or porphyr structure. This rock is extremely strong and resistant to abrasion and compression.
Application
Owing to its natural features, granite is broadly applied in construction. It is recommended for public spaces with the high intensity of pedestrian and vehicle traffic. As granite surfaces can be rendered in various finishes (e.g. polished, glazed, hammered), this material is simply ideal for indoor and outdoor applications, meeting both the utility and decoration requirements. Granite can be used for the product of facade panels etc.
